What is the best first time credit card for international travel?

I am 19, a college student, and am going to Israel for 10 days this summer and I was thinking about getting a credit card for the trip. This will be my first credit card and I intend to pay the bill off after the trip is over. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good first time credit card for international travel. It means if you want a $500 credit line, you give them a $500 check and so on.
