What are the advantages of getting a Home Depot credit card?

Do people who use the Home Depot credit card get any discounts or cash back/store credit? If not, then what is the point of using one versus a regular credit card? I would be paying the balance in full every month like I do with a regular credit card.|||Periodically they will run special promotions like 6 months same as cash for purchases of $500 or more (or similar). If you can make use of one of these promotions, then it's a good deal.
